Christmas!

Luke entertaining us with the reading of "Twas the
Night before Christmas-South Carolina Edition"

In keeping with tradition, we enjoyed reading the Christmas
story and singing happy birthday to Jesus in Mommy and Daddy's
room before opening presents!

Santa Clause came and look what he brought Trace!

Trace LOVED his climber with slide, crawl tunnel, and basketball goal!

into everything!

More Kingstree pics...

Christmas in Kingstree

We spent Christmas with Dana's family in Kingstree Dec. 22nd-24th. Trace loved seeing his DiDi and Papa and playing with Harvin and Thomas!

I haven't figured out how to rotate the pictures, but here are
Harvin and Thomas with their new skateboards and helmets!

We're so cool with our new shades!

Papa got all the men new jackets!

Spy-googles-soooo cool!

Taylor Weenie Roast - 2007

We held our weenie roast at our new home this
year and it was a blast! We had about 50+
in attendance and a special visit from SANTA!
Here we are with our own little Santa-only sad that
we are missing Trace. He came down with a virus on
Saturday and went to his Papa and DiDi's house
during the party. Next year he will hopefully be
here for this annual event!

Come on guys-isn't Santa here for the kids?!

Blythe likes Santa from a distance! (just like Trace)

The Griffin clan-Evie, Molly, and Matthew
(children of Eric and Wendy) -they got the prize
for traveling the farthest!

McCall and Lilly (children of Marshall and Wayne)
telling Santa their Christmas wishes while Whitley
waits for her turn!

The kids loved the visit with Santa-and so did the adults!
We didn't have space on this post to picture each family,
but all the children were just adorable!

Trace's "Minor Procedure"

On December 6th, Trace had outpatient surgery
to drain a hydrocele hernia...so we say that he had
a little "wee wee surgery!" He is doing great and other
than a lot of sleeping today, he is back to his normal self.
Here Trace is getting prepared for surgery by the sweet
nurses at Richland Hospital.

No one really likes hospital gowns, but is this
not just adorable?

Playing in the children's hospital waiting room
before surgery.

Too cute! He will probably kill me one day for
taking this picture.

Aha-he found his favorite toy...a stroller!

Look who we ran into at the mall!

It was such a blessing to see my dear friend, Lauren
and her little girl, Emily Ruth (one month older
than Anna Kate) Lauren was home for Thanksgiving
and we got to see each other a few times.

We're getting these girls ready to be roomies at
Converse one day-on full scholarships of course!:-)

Grizwald Family Christmas Tree...That's exactly what it felt like when we untied the Christmas tree the other day! It's huge!

We decided that since we're selling Christmas
trees, we should probably opt for a REAL tree this
year instead of taking the easy way out with the
pre-lit artificial. I forgot how much more work it
is to string lights, etc...!

1000 lights!

Getting in the Christmas spirit-it's our own
Clark Grizwald!:-)

Setting up Christmas Trees

Year #2 of Christmas Tree sales...here are Gerrick
and Zack setting posts for the trees

A hard days work and still going! Praise God
from whom all blessings flow!

Discovering BOOKS!

Trace and Daddy-reading two books at one time!

Trace's new bookshelf in his playroom

What a prodigy-we hope to be reading chapter
books by the end of the year!:-)

Diaper changing lessons...

We are now offering "diapering 101" at our house
since we have two little ones in diapers! Here's Gerrick
with our dear friend, Luke Clamp. Luke and his wife,
Alecia, are expecting a baby boy in March!

Did anyone say, "OUTSIDE?"

The word "outside" is whispered around our
house these days...unless you're prepared to
go! We believe Trace would sleep outside if
we let him!

Trace is a getting the hang of this big brother thing...

Trace is getting used to Anna Kate a little more
everyday. Here they are after Anna Kate's
first "real bath" since her cord fell off!

Keep me warm!

Happy Halloween

Anna Kate Taylor 10.29.07 8 lbs. 5 oz. 21 1/2 in.

Love at first sight!

What a cutie!

Right now we are thinking-oh my goodness...
we have two children! All of a sudden Trace
seemed like a grown child rather than the baby
he was just hours before-very surreal!

Trace blowing kisses at Anna Kate
(notice the red stained shirt-those were stains
of a lollipop-every attempt was made by
grandparents to keep Trace entertained while
waiting on Anna Kate to arrive!
